I studied at the London College of Music, gaining a first class degree in music performance. I then completed an MMus in Musical Direction under the tutelage of Stuart Morley. Shortly after completion I moved to Germany to start my career as a professional musical director on Starlight Express. Since then, I have worked on UK/World tours, on cruise ships and in the West End as a musical director and/or pianist.
